Sarah Kim is an attorney engaging in general practice as a solo practitioner. She has practiced law for over a decade and has licenses in both New Jersey and New York. Sarah has been a resident of the Borough of Ridgefield along with her husband Thomas Kim since 2018. Prior to that, she lived in West New York, North Bergen, Cliffside Park, and Palisades Park. She came to New Jersey in 2008 for a job upon graduating from Albany Law School in New York and ever since then has found it to be home. Sarah holds three Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy, Government, and History from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in International Cooperation with a minor in Korean History from Yonse lGraduate School of International Studies (GSIS) in Seoul, South Korea. Her volunteering activities and commitment to community service continued after she returned to the United States. In her second year of law school while serving as the Vice President for the Albany Law School Chapter of Amnesty International, she organized a school-wide language assistance program to provide interpretation services to low-income members of the local community who had difficulty communicating with their lawyers in English. In New Jersey, Sarah has been serving her local community through her involvement in various government entities and non-for-profit organizations such as Bergen County Advisory Council of the Division of Senior Services, Ridgefield Anti-Bullying Committee, Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Committee, the Korean American Association of New Jersey, the Women’s Rights Information Center, Legal Services of New Jersey, New Jersey Family Counseling Center, and New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics – District Ethics Committee IIB.
