Invalid Location Program
The Ridgefield Fire Prevention Bureau has begun an "Invalid Location Program". This program allows us to know exactly where people with any type of disablities are in any type of building and what type of disability they may have and the assistance they may need to safely evacuate a building in case of an emergency. The bureau maintains a running list in our computer system of those who live and work within the Borough of Ridgefield who may need our assistance. THIS INFORMATION IS STRICTLY CONFIDENTAIL. The registration form is available through the Ridgefield Fire Prevention Bureau at (201) 945-6008. Please call us if you would like to register for this program. The bureau will mail out or deliver this form to those requesting it. Please, help us by helping you.

If you have any questions or conerns about the invalid location program or any other questions involving fire safety, please do not hesitate to call us at (201) 945-6008 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. We also have a variety of fire safety brochures available for all residents and also provide all types of fire safety training if requested. We look forward to hearing from you.
