The Borough of Ridgefield proudly honors our local veterans and active-duty service members through the Hometown Heroes Banner Program.

Custom full-color banners featuring each honoree’s name, military photograph, branch of service, and rank will be displayed throughout the Borough beginning Veterans Day.

How to Apply

STEP 1

Complete the online application using the button above.

STEP 2

Email a copy of the honoree’s DD-214/discharge papers and a high-resolution image (600 dpi preferred) to:
HometownHero@ridgefieldboro.com

STEP 3

Within a few days, you will receive an invoice from the Borough of Ridgefield in the amount of $200 per banner.

Payment may be made by:

• Check (payable to Borough of Ridgefield)
• Credit card (through Community Pass)

STEP 4

Once approved, the banner will be proudly displayed within the Borough.

• Completed Ridgefield NJ HH – FORM 2026 HQ
• One photograph of the honoree (600 dpi preferred)
• Copy of DD-214 or discharge papers (if available)
• Payment of $200 per banner
