The
Recycling Center is for Ridgefield Residents ONLY. Identification must be
shown at all times.
The Center is only for recyclable items, please put all
other items out on the curb on the appropriate scheduled days.
CO-MINGLED: Glass bottles and jars, aluminum and metal cans, plastic containers, aluminum foil and pie plates and empty water-based paint cans that have been washed out should be placed in your blue recycling container for Wednesday pickup. Do not use plastic bags. Remove all caps from Recyclable items.
CARDBOARD / PAPER: All cardboard must be flattened and tied or put into a larger box and placed at the curb. Newspapers, junk mail, catalogs, magazines, books, (with hard covers removed) must be tied in bundles or put into paper bags. Do not use plastic bags.
The following items are NOT recyclable. Do not place them in your recycling container: Hazardous Materials, Aerosol Cans, Laundry Baskets, Buckets, Plant Trays, Flower Pots, Toys, Ceramics, Fluorescent Light Bulbs, Window Glass, Mirrors, Propane Gas Cylinders, Insecticides, Mercury Switches, Antifreeze, Oil Based Paint Cans, Styrofoam.
